Description:
The "As You Remember Them" series was a short series issued
in 1972.
It provided compilations of instrumentals in 3-LP box
sets or 2-cassette sets.
The instrumentals were not the original versions, but
re-creations by Billy May.
The series was produced by David D. Cavanaugh.
Although the cover listed the artists who had had hits
with the songs, they were just remakes in the same style.
The color of the record labels matches the color of the
outer box with a white band across the center.
Each set is a different color: Green, Red, Blue,
Yellow, Pink, Orange, Lime Green & Tan.
The
records were pressed by Capitol Special Markets.
The individual 8 Volumes are
broken down below with their own images and listing
information. These volumes also came with a "Some
Notes on the Music" booklet as well as a print
discography.
