Henry Mancini made a special guest appearance on The Lawrence Welk Show in November 1981.  Along with the Welk orchestra & singers performing several Mancini compositions, Henry himself was featured in several numbers, playing solo piano with the orchestra in "It's Easy To Say"; conducting the orchestra in "The Pink Panther Theme" and accompanying singers in "I Love You (and don't you forget it)".  Below are some screen captures from this show.
